The HAZWOPER 2025 Refresher (8-Hour) course from ClickSafety is an advanced certificate/card-level training designed to provide essential knowledge and training as prescribed by the OSHA standard for hazardous waste operations and emergency response (HAZWOPER) in 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(8) and corresponding construction (e.g. 29 CFR 1926.65(e) and state mandated requirements.  Nearly all levels of employees engaged in clean-up operations are required to complete eight hours of refresher training annually. OSHA requires businesses that operate sites where employees, managers, and supervisors experience limited exposure to hazardous materials to provide 24-Hours of initial training. Additionally, those who only occasionally visit the site may be required to have a level of HAZWOPER training as well. While workers in these roles are not generally exposed to high levels of hazardous substances like those encountered by workers engaged in regular cleanup, treatment, storage, or disposal activities at hazardous waste operations and emergency response (HAZWOPER) sites, they still require training to ensure compliance with required safety practices and minimize the occurrence of injuries and health risks. ClickSafety offers the HAZWOPER 24-Hour Course for All Industries to meet these mandatory training requirements. This 24-Hour HAZWOPER Training is vital in helping workers, managers, and supervisors meet initial OSHA safety requirements. This mandatory training teaches employees of all levels about the potential hazards they may face when working with hazardous waste, as well as how to respond when these problems arise and how best to mitigate the chances they will occur. Educating employees on these safety practices can help minimize the chance of health risk and improve the overall safety culture of the workplace.  NOTICE: Students also need to obtain additional site-specific training, along with at least one day of actual field experience under the direct supervision of a trained, experienced supervisor. The HAZWOPER 24-Hour Course for All Industries helps ensure all participants are aware of common workplace hazards associated with HAZWOPER sites, as well as the best practices and controls needed to reduce on-site incidents. Upon completion of the 24-Hour HAZWOPER online training course and required site-specific training, participants will be prepared to work in accordance with OSHA’s HAZWOPER Regulation, preparing them to identify and address hazards to maintain a safe work environment.

When workers engage in the cleanup, treatment, storage, or disposal of hazardous substances as defined in 40 CFR 261.3 and 49 CFR 171.8, they must adhere to the OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 standards for hazardous waste operations and emergency response (HAZWOPER). Failure to understand and comply with these standards poses serious risks, including chemical burns, skin and eye irritation, and even death.  ClickSafety’s HAZWOPER 40-Hour course can help workers, managers, and supervisors meet initial OSHA safety requirements. This training teaches employees of all levels about the potential hazards they may face when working with hazardous waste, as well as how to respond when these problems arise and how best to mitigate the chances they will occur. Educating employees on these safety practices can help minimize the chance of health risk and improve the overall safety culture of the workplace.  NOTICE: Students must also obtain additional site-specific training, along with three days of actual field experience under the direct supervision of a trained, experienced supervisor. In addition, on-site supervisors and managers may use this training to fulfill the 40-Hour component of their training requirements.
