In this lesson, you will learn the hazards of hot work and the actions you can take to either prevent them or protect yourself from them and the injuries associated with this type of work.
Objectives
- Identify the hazards of hot work
- Describe the authorizations, area preparations, and fire prevention methods you must have in place prior to performing hot work
- Recognize how using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) can protect you and others from hot work hazards
