In this course, Ergonomics: 03. Reducing Eyestrain, we discuss the issue of eyestrain and what you can do to avoid it. Spending hours in front of a computer can lead to problems such as headaches and dry, tired eyes. This course offers several useful suggestions to help alleviate the discomfort. You will learn about the 20-20-20 rule, viewing font sizes, and how glasses and the type of glasses you wear can be an issue. Included in the course are tips on positioning your monitor and chair and adjusting lighting to eliminate glare. Part of our Ergonomics series, this course includes a short video presentation, followed by a quick quiz to test your comprehension. We also offer a downloadable reference document to complement the lesson.
