This course provides essential safety training on fall hazards and fall protection, preparing construction employees to work safely on elevated sites. In this course, you'll learn about the four types of hazards related to falls: falls, electrical hazards, caught-in hazards, and struck-by hazards. The course also provides an illuminating discussion on fall dynamics, explaining how even short falls can result in serious injury. Next, you'll learn about the different types of fall protection systems, body support devices, fall restraint, and arrest systems available to ensure your safety. Upon successful completion of this course, you'll be ready to work safer by adhering to workplace safety standards and requirements regarding fall protection. We'll review your employer's responsibilities regarding your health and safety, as well as your own.
