Arsenic is a metalloid that has many uses and is found in pesticides, wood preservatives, semiconductors, and alloying agents. However, arsenic is toxic to humans even at very low concentrations. This course discusses the physical properties of arsenic, the health hazards associated with arsenic, and exposure limits. It also covers engineering and administrative controls.
