Description
We’re all familiar with the Golden Rule – treat others the way you’d want to be treated. A level above that line of thinking is the idea that we need to treat others the way they’d like to be treated. This module features simple steps to reaching that goal. Goal: The goal of this course is to raise awareness regarding how easy it is to offend without intending to do so and to provide some tips to avoid doing just that.
Objectives
- Demonstrate an understanding of how easy it is to offend someone without intending to do so
- Demonstrate the steps to follow to avoid addressing someone in a way that might offend them
- Demonstrate an awareness that you can build trust when you care enough to find out how someone wishes to be treated and when you apologize for accidentally offending them
